Admissions Process

Order of Preference
Some students, including returning students and new applicants from previously enrolled families, are offered the choice to enroll ahead of new applicants from open enrollment. The order of preference when extending the choice to enroll is:

1. Current students seeking readmission

2. Siblings of admitted students seeking admission

3. New applicants through our open enrollment period seeking admission

How Are Students Placed in Classes?
Final decisions for classroom placement are made in the best interest of the child by the Administrative Team. Parents who have information relating to this decision should make an appointment with their child’s current teacher to discuss the issues.

The teacher will then bring those issues to the placement meetings, where the final decisions will be made in the spring of each year. Changes in classroom assignments will only be made if the well-being of the child is seriously affected. 

How Do Parents Pay Tuition?
Montessori Academy has selected Tuition Express for easy tuition & fees payment processing. Their proven, secure system provides parents and the school with the right mix of features to make payment processing streamlined and painless all around.

How Are Openings Filled?
Private Academy (Toddler & Early Education)
Private school applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

Charter Academy (Kindergarten-8th Grade)
Applications submitted for open enrollment are subject to a lottery to fill openings per the guidelines of the Charter Schools Program Non-Regulatory Guidance, Section C.
